I'm already a huge Tarantino fan and zombie flick enthusiast so for me this film was indeed a pant wetting experience. I'm working on a small tattoo in honor of it actually. A silhouette of Cherry Darling with the machine gun leg next to the skull symbol on the hood of Stuntman Mike's car. Simple. Effective. Eye-catching. I'm pretty excited about it. Great article man. Keeping the spirit of great cinema alive.

Kamron,
You are awesome! Ben was so lucky to have a friend such as you. The picture of the two of you kids brings me tears of both joy & sorrow. Thank you for being Ben's best friend!

I've been thinking a lot about Brutus in the past month: about my never-ending guilt, the permanence of death, and worst of all, the thought of him decomposing underground. I think about the lonesomeness of his death and particularly of the night a month before he died when I first noticed he wasn't eating like usual.

After realizing he wasn't going to finish his dinner, I went and sat down downstairs. He followed me to where I was and sat in front of me, giving me a look across that unbridgeable gap with a silence that made the moment unforgettable. I remember thinking then, at his aged face, about our mortality, and thinking he was close to his end. I hate how right that I was.

I still continue to feel that I betrayed him. While he was lying there, hanging on to his life and fully conscious, we snatched away all he had left. Despite a decade of love and care, I can't forgive myself for this one agonizing, questionable day.

I never fully realize the extent of his weight and presence until he was finally gone.
